Reviews

"Very informative; an easy read for any family with a loved one facing these difficulties" - Alex Alva, M.D. Clinical Director, Pacific Neuropsychiatric Specialists, Costa Mesa, CA

"Dementia is a disease which claims not one person, but many - the family! this "slow, living death" wrenches the body, mind and soul, victimizing both the individual and his loved ones. If you're a caregiver, then you have found a friendly tool and coping mechanism in Rosemary De Cuir's helpful primer to guide you through uncharted territory. I believe you'll find simple, straightforward, comprehensive and practical answers to the questions that often baffle and drain, and keep one awake day and night! God bless you as you seek to sanely care for your loved one without "going out of your mind" - (Rev.) John Coulombe, Pastor for Senior Adults, First Evangelical Free Church, Fullerton, CA

"Ms. De Cuir has written a book that will provide practical advice for any family memeber taking care of a loved one with memory loss. Ms De Cuir provides insight from her many years of working with family caregivers, who face daily issues and decisions only caregivers will understand. An easy and meaningful read." - Jean Moonilal, LCSW, Costa Mesa, CA

"This collection of material is an impressive contribution for persons desiring to navigate the complex maze of needs and services associated with a dementia-related diagnosis of a loved one. I highly recommend this as a handbook for families, caregivers, elder care service providers, assisted living marketers and gerontological consultants" - Barbara M. Resnick, M.S. Gerontology, Developer/Owner Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) & President of Cameo Continuing Education
