In 1991, Bob became a Deputy Sheriff and a D.A.R.E. instructor, a program that gives kids the life skills they need to avoid involvement with drugs, gangs, and violence. While teaching D.A.R.E., Robert perfected an effective method he calls "too smart for strangers," a program that has already foiled 40 stranger abductions! With this insight and knowledge, Bob began to publish a series of safety booklets, and his first book, "Too Safe for Strangers" is based on his successful program. His books on children's safety reflect his knowledge of working with children and helping them learn to deal with today's problems. These safety booklets are THE essential, economical tools for parents, teachers, principals, law enforcement personnel, babysitters, and other trusted adults to share safety rules with children. About the Author: Robert Kahn has a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Phoenix, a BS in Education from the University of Nevada, Reno, and an Associate of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the Truckee Meadows Community College. Kahn was a sixth grade teacher for over ten years. He became deeply concerned with the drug and gang problems that are plaguing our nation and wanted to help find a way to protect our children.
